Z11 Pyro Supply was founded in the late 90's by Zack Percell. Zack is a magician who realized the impact of Theatrical Pyrotechnics, while working with the opperations aspect of the art during a fellow magician's productions. Zack and his best friend, and magic show partner, Todd Ripplinger, wanted to add some Theatrical Pyro, or Indoor Pyrotechnic Effects to their magic show, but discovered that the products necessary to do so, costed WAY to much for these "starving artists" to handle. Zack started doing some research of the workings of some of the devices. "Some research" turned into a few years of spending WAY more money then he would have spent just purchasing any line of products from any supplier, but it was, by now, a passion. In 1996, Zack began selling devices to local magicians, and "firing" shows for local Rock and Rap groups using his own products.
Zack found that he enjoyed the more rare job of engineering pyrotechnic hardware just as much, if not more than firing shows. He decided to devote his time and energies to the production of Theatrical Pyro Hardware & Software for performers like himself (you); People that really wanted to add Theatrical Pyro to their performances, but did not have Thousands of $$ to do it.
In or around 1998, Zack was introduced to the Internet. It was there (here) that Zack discovered he could reach people like himself (you), and make owning and operating Theatrical Pyrotechnics as safe, and as affordable as possible.
